Creator, Affiliate and Promotional Services Policy
Effective date: From the first publication of this version on b2b.scrolling.in, subject to the notice and existing-Order protections in the Marketplace Terms.
Conditional scope: This Policy applies only when Burbn B2B expressly offers a creator, affiliate, referral or promotional programme and the participant accepts a written Campaign Schedule. It does not announce an active programme, commission rate, reward balance or right to payment for ordinary website use.
1. Roles and contractual parties
A Creator produces or publishes promotional material. An Affiliate refers a prospective business customer under an agreed attribution arrangement. An Advertiser commissions or funds the activity. One person may perform more than one role, but the Campaign Schedule must identify each contracting party, its responsibility and the party that owes payment.
Burbn may operate campaign tools or contract for a defined promotional service. It does not become the seller of goods merely because those goods appear in a campaign. The Supplier remains responsible for product conformity, delivery and its own claims; each publisher remains responsible for representations they make or adopt.
No retail creator scheme, rate, “watch and earn” feature, in-app reward or influencer benefit from scrolling.in automatically applies to B2B. A public listing, referral link or uploaded video alone does not establish an accepted paid campaign.
2. Eligibility and onboarding
Participants must be at least 18, have contractual capacity and any business authority needed for the activity. Provide accurate identity, business, tax and payment details proportionate to verification and legal requirements. Do not use a nominee to conceal the real payee or circumvent a restriction.
An agency must be authorised by the creator or advertiser it represents and must explain its role. Participation does not create employment, partnership, a general agency or authority to bind Burbn or a Supplier to an Order. Any actual employment relationship or statutory entitlement depends on law and the facts, not solely this label.
3. The Campaign Schedule
Before work or chargeable activity begins, record the advertiser and payor; products and territories; audience; deliverables; formats and channels; deadlines; review process; agreed revisions; fee or commission formula; attribution conditions; permitted claims; required disclosures; rights; usage period; expenses; samples; cancellation terms; and payment conditions.
The schedule must distinguish a fixed production fee from commission on a completed transaction and from a fee for advertising spend or content usage. State whether taxes are additional and who bears any authorised provider or conversion charge. A disputed measurement rule must not be invented after the work has been performed.
Any exclusivity must define its product category, competitors, territory and reasonable duration. A separate agreement may provide additional commercial terms, but cannot require an unlawful endorsement, concealed advertisement or misleading product claim.
4. Truthful content and substantiated claims
Content must be accurate and supported by the evidence appropriate to the claim. Do not invent an inspection, factory visit, product test, certification, purchase experience, delivery result or commercial saving. Do not describe an illustrative demonstration as a verified result for every production unit.
The advertiser must provide reliable product information and substantiation. A creator should make a reasonable check of the claims they communicate and raise missing evidence. Script approval does not excuse a knowingly false statement or remove a legal duty imposed on the publisher.
Health, safety, environmental, earnings, comparative and technical claims need particular care. Avoid unsupported “best”, “zero risk”, “guaranteed profit”, “certified safe” or equivalent claims. Use the actual B2B Order and protection terms when describing shipping, duties, refunds or money-back protection.
5. Advertising disclosures and conflicts
Clearly disclose a material connection, including payment, commission, a free sample, employment, ownership or another benefit. The disclosure must be prominent, understandable and close to the endorsement in the relevant medium; do not hide it only in a profile, after a long list of tags or behind an extra click.
For video or audio, use appropriate on-screen or spoken disclosure so the intended audience can understand the connection. Follow applicable advertising, consumer and platform requirements, including applicable endorsement standards. A label must not imply independent testing or regulatory approval that did not occur.
Do not conceal a procurement employee's personal commission from the business whose purchasing decision they influence. Do not pay for a positive review or condition a refund or warranty on favourable publicity. A legitimate referral reward must be distinguished from an independent customer opinion.
6. Intellectual property and personal likeness
Obtain rights to music, stock assets, footage, photographs, scripts, trade marks and identifiable people used in the campaign. A permission for organic publication does not necessarily permit paid ads, editing, sublicensing or unlimited geographic use.
The Campaign Schedule must state who owns new deliverables and which rights are licensed, including term, territory, channels, format changes and any paid-media use. Account whitelisting, advertising from a creator's handle, raw-file delivery, voice cloning and use of a likeness for synthetic content require specific authorisation. Do not treat a general content licence as consent to those activities.
Private RFQs, technical drawings, negotiated prices and customer information are not campaign material without separate authority and a lawful basis. The Intellectual Property Policy and Privacy Policy continue to apply.
7. Review, publication and corrections
Identify the authorised approver and permitted revisions before production. Approval may address legal accuracy, brand requirements and deliverable specifications; it must not require a dishonest personal opinion or an undisclosed commercial connection.
Do not publish confidential, embargoed or unapproved material where the schedule requires prior approval. If a material error, expired offer or safety concern is identified after publication, cooperate promptly with correction, appropriate labelling or removal. Preserve evidence of the original publication where reasonably needed for a dispute or legal obligation.
If Burbn or the advertiser changes the agreed brief, scope, usage or production timetable, record the corresponding adjustment to cost and delivery. An indefinite cycle of new instructions is not included in a fixed fee unless expressly and reasonably agreed.
8. Attribution and qualifying referrals
The schedule must define the tracking method, attribution window, first- or last-touch rule where used, treatment of existing leads, duplicates, returning customers, group companies, cross-device activity, refunds and rejected or unpaid Orders. It must also identify how a tracking failure can be reported and supported.
A click, impression, inquiry, draft Order or payment authorisation is not a completed sale unless that event is expressly the compensated deliverable. Commission on goods should use the defined eligible amount actually earned, with taxes, freight, discounts and refunded portions treated exactly as the schedule states.
Do not fabricate leads, use bots, cookie stuffing, forced clicks, fake identities, misleading offers or undisclosed self-referrals. Legitimate related-party transactions must be handled under the expressly agreed programme rules, not reclassified after the event solely to avoid payment.
9. Fees, statements and payment
The payor must provide a statement showing the compensated deliverables or eligible transactions, calculation base, rate, adjustments, tax treatment and amount due. No universal commission rate, payout threshold, expiry period or withdrawal charge is created by this Policy.
Record the invoice requirements and payment due date in the schedule. Payment-provider and legal requirements prevail, including applicable MSME payment obligations. A review or approval process must not be used to defer a statutory due date unlawfully.
Only reasonably evidenced and disclosed reversals apply. A refunded sale may reduce a sale-based commission to the extent agreed; it does not automatically cancel an independently earned production fee. Explain a disputed deduction and permit a response before finalising it, subject to lawful urgent controls. Correct confirmed underpayments and duplicate payments through a documented process.
10. Samples, expenses and taxes
Specify whether a sample is a gift, a loan, purchased goods or property that must be returned, and who pays lawful shipping, duties and return costs. Do not require an unsafe return. Receipt of a free sample must be disclosed where material to an endorsement.
Only agreed, reasonably evidenced expenses are reimbursable. Identify required pre-approval and limits. Participants are responsible for their own tax obligations, while the party required to deduct, collect, report or issue a certificate must perform that duty under the law in force. Do not assume every reward has the same tax treatment.
11. Data protection and marketing contacts
Obtain the necessary authority before submitting a person's contact as a lead. Use a referral form or agreed route that gives an appropriate notice. Do not upload scraped contact lists or describe unsolicited personal-data sales as introductions.
Use campaign data only for the agreed purpose. Do not export Buyer details into unrelated advertising audiences or messaging groups. Separate consent and applicable telecom or direct-marketing rules must be respected. Notify Burbn without undue delay of a suspected material incident affecting campaign data supplied through the Platform.
12. Cancellation and termination
The schedule should distinguish cancellation before work begins, work in progress, completed deliverables, committed non-recoverable costs and future media usage. Pay for work properly performed and costs lawfully due under the agreement; require reasonable mitigation and evidence for a cancellation claim.
Serious fraud, unlawful content, material rights infringement or another substantial breach may justify immediate suspension or termination. Ordinary termination should follow the agreed notice. Earned undisputed fees are not automatically forfeited because participation ends.
On exit, stop unauthorised new use, return or delete confidential material as required and reconcile accepted deliverables, samples and payments. Existing lawful content rights continue only for their agreed scope and duration. Product safety corrections and mandatory legal duties survive.
13. Complaints and applicable terms
Raise measurement, rights, disclosure or payment issues promptly with support@scrolling.in. Formal complaints and internal appeals follow the Grievance Policy. A payment statement dispute should identify the relevant campaign, transactions and proposed correction.
The Marketplace Terms govern Burbn's relationship with a participant within their stated scope. A creator–advertiser dispute is not automatically subject to Burbn's arbitration clause merely because the campaign used the Platform. Mandatory rights, applicable tax law and statutory forums remain available.
